Electronic Arts has unveiled the projected release timeframe for the next Battlefield game. Their financial report indicates a launch before April 2026.
Industry insider Tom Henderson, referencing EA's historical release schedules, predicts an October or November 2025 release for the new Battlefield title. EA, however, remains tight-lipped on specifics.
Development is underway across four of EA's internal studios, with extensive playtesting planned. A closed beta program has already been announced, enabling participants to evaluate core gameplay mechanics. Feedback from this testing phase will be crucial in shaping the final product.
This announcement also clarifies the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS title isn't imminent, as the Battlefield project currently holds top priority.
