Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Deer Skin Guide

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, many items can be acquired through purchase or theft, but crafting remains a valuable skill, especially for essential materials like deer skin. Here's how to obtain it.

Where to Get Deer Skin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

As the name implies, deer skin is primarily obtained by skinning deer. This requires unlocking a relevant survival perk. Once unlocked, you can hunt deer in the game's various wooded areas—they're relatively common, so finding them shouldn't be difficult. However, hunting isn't your only option.

Where to Buy Deer Skin

Alternatively, you can purchase deer skin. Poacher and bandit camps sometimes have it in stock, but reliable sources include:

  • Weaponsmiths and blacksmiths at Trosky Castle
  • Saddlers at Trosky Castle
  • Tanners at Vidlak Pond
  • Gamekeepers at Zhelejov

Most settlements have traders who periodically stock deer skin. While Trosky Castle's vendors often have a good supply, smaller settlements also offer this resource. Note that the gamekeeper in Zhelejov might occasionally have trading issues, but as a last resort, you could attempt pickpocketing him.

That covers the methods for acquiring deer skin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For more game tips and strategies, including guidance on the Jakesh storyline and a Katherine romance, check out The Escapist.
