Obtaining Machine Arms early in the game presents a challenge due to their low drop rate. The chance of obtaining them increases with enemy level.

Farming Machine Arms

Machine Arms have a small chance of dropping from defeated small machines. To maximize your chances early on, focus on quickly eliminating as many small machines as possible.

After completing Chapter 4, a highly effective farming location becomes available. Use fast travel to reach the Desert: Housing Complex access point. Proceed deeper into the ruins to find the pit where you first encountered Adam. This pit continuously respawns small machines, providing a consistent source, albeit with a low drop rate. This method is also beneficial for farming Titanium Alloy.

While a Drop Rate Plug-In Chip can slightly improve your yield, the sheer number of respawning enemies makes this the most efficient early-game farming strategy.

Buying Machine Arms

During the final playthrough, playing as A2, you can choose to erase Pascal's memories after the village robots are eliminated. This action transforms Pascal into a merchant, whose inventory includes Machine Arms. His complete stock consists of:
