Pokémon fans rejoice! New Pokémon have arrived in Pokémon Sleep, adding excitement to the sleep-based mobile game. As of December 3rd, 2024, Sneasel and its evolution, Weavile, are now available to befriend.

Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile:

These Ice/Dark-type Pokémon (Dark-type only in Pokémon Sleep) can be found in two locations:

• Snowdrop Tundra: Their primary habitat, reflecting their Ice-type origins in the main series games.
• Greengrass Isle: Conveniently available to all players, regardless of game progression.

If you're not currently researching on either of these islands, the EZ Travel Ticket allows you to change your research location.

Sleep Types and Evolution:

Both Sneasel and Weavile share the "Dozing" sleep type. Maximizing your chances of encountering them requires having a Dozing sleep type for the night. Sneasel is easier to find initially, evolving into Weavile with 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. However, you'll still need to encounter Weavile in the wild for Sleep Research data.

Are Sneasel and Weavile Valuable?

Sneasel's primary value lies in its berry-gathering ability, collecting Wiki Berries. This makes it a strong addition to your Snowdrop Tundra team. It also provides an "Extra Tasty" bonus to your dishes. Its ingredient requirements include desirable items, making a well-equipped Sneasel a valuable asset.
