Get ready, Pokémon trainers! A Pokémon Presents event is scheduled for next week, celebrating Pokémon Day with exciting franchise updates.
The Pokémon Company announced on X/Twitter that the event will air on February 27th, 2025, at 6am Pacific Time (9am Eastern Time/2pm UK time) on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
While the specifics remain under wraps, fans eagerly anticipate news regarding the next core Pokémon game, currently unannounced. Although a spin-off, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, is slated for a 2025 release, details on the next main series installment remain elusive.
The presentation will likely feature updates on existing titles such as Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. Announcements concerning the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket and the physical trading card game are also highly anticipated.
Last year's Pokémon Presents, held around the same time, unveiled Pokémon Legends: Z-A, new Tera Raid Battles for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and the mobile adaptation of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, among other announcements. Interestingly, 2024 marked a departure from previous years with only one Pokémon Presents event and the first absence of a major Pokémon game release since 2015.
