In *Avowed*, Obsidian's latest RPG, the expansive world of the Living Lands might give the impression of endless exploration, but the main quest is actually quite concise. If you're eager to dive deeper into the game after the credits roll, here's what you can expect post-completion.

Does Avowed Have New Game Plus?

For those who relish the thrill of replaying a game's main quest on a higher difficulty with accumulated skills and gear, *Avowed* might initially disappoint. At launch, *Avowed* does not feature a New Game Plus mode. However, the community's strong desire for this feature could prompt Obsidian to introduce it in future updates or DLCs. The absence of New Game Plus doesn't mean you should shy away from replaying *Avowed*. The game's rich tapestry of choices that influence both story and gameplay makes starting a new save worthwhile, allowing you to explore different endings and character builds.

Does Avowed Have Endgame Content?

*Avowed* unfolds across four main regions, culminating in a secret finale area and a return to a significant city, which we'll keep under wraps to avoid spoilers. These final areas are challenging and require Legendary Quality Weapons and Gear for survival. However, once you've completed the game, you won't be able to revisit the Living Lands to see how your choices have reshaped the world, which can be a letdown for players hoping for a dynamic post-game experience.

What You Can Do After You Beat Avowed

Without a New Game Plus or dedicated endgame content, *Avowed's* post-game offerings might seem sparse. After the final encounter, you'll be treated to animatic cutscenes that illustrate the consequences of your decisions, providing a glimpse into how your choices have impacted the Living Lands and its inhabitants. Once the cutscenes conclude, you'll return to the Main Menu.

From here, you have two primary options: embark on a new journey with a different Envoy or reload a previous save. Autosaves from just before the point of no return and before the final encounter are available, allowing you to replay these sections and experiment with different choices to achieve varied story outcomes and endings.

Reloading to a save before the point of no return also grants you the opportunity to revisit earlier regions. You can complete any remaining side quests, collect missed items, and earn achievements. With your upgraded gear, revisiting early areas like Dawnshore can be particularly enjoyable, as the enemies won't scale to your level.

And that's what awaits you after beating *Avowed*.

*Avowed is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass.*
