Get ready for a stylish showdown in Pokémon GO! Fashion Week: Taken Over runs from January 15th to 19th, blending high fashion with intense battles against Team GO Rocket. This event offers a unique opportunity to confront Giovanni and rescue Shadow Palkia. But that's not all!

New Pokémon Debuts:

Two fashionable newcomers grace the game: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. Shroodle will be hatching from 12 km Eggs.

Team GO Rocket Rampage:

Expect increased Team GO Rocket activity at PokéStops and in balloons. This provides ample chances to utilize Charged TMs and remove the Frustration move from your Shadow Pokémon.

Shadow Pokémon Encounters:

A stylish selection of Shadow Pokémon are making their appearance, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Keep an eye out for Shiny variations! For the first time, Remote Raid Passes allow participation in Shadow Raids, regardless of location.

A special research task will lead you to a Super Rocket Radar, culminating in a battle against Giovanni to liberate Shadow Palkia. Additional Field Research tasks provide rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Completing a Collection Challenge earns Stardust and a Trubbish encounter.

On Sunday, January 19th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, participate in the Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day. This event boasts increased Raid Pass availability and a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate. Ho-Oh caught during this period can learn the devastating Charged Attack, Sacred Fire. A $5 event ticket unlocks additional rewards.
