Just a couple of weeks after dropping Ash of Gods: Redemption, AurumDust is back at it with another RPG in the same series. This one’s called Ash of Gods: The Way, and it’s already open for pre-registration on Android. It’s already available on PC and Nintendo Switch, just for your info. What’s New In This One?In line with its predecessors, Tactics and Redemption, this game is a tactical card combat game with a strong story element. AurumDust has polished the presentation, offering an even better tactical RPG experience. From the sneak peeks, it’s clear that this game has some fresh twists. You’ll get to build decks with warriors, gear and spells from four different factions. There’s a variety of tournaments to participate in with unique enemies, battlefields and rules. You get two decks, five factions and a whopping thirty-two possible endings. You play as Finn, and your crew of three travel into enemy territory to participate in war game tournaments. Throughout the game, you’ll listen to voice-acted visual novel sections. The story hooks you right in and the dialogues are a highlight (just like the previous Ash of Gods title). You’ll dive into different conversations where the characters feel alive as they argue, support and tease each other. As you progress, you’ll unlock four different deck types and upgrade your existing ones. The first two decks are Berkanan and Bandit. Next, you’ll unlock the Frisian deck, which is super defensive. And lastly, the Gellians deck consists of hyper-aggressive, fast-moving, high-damage minions.Ash of Gods: The Way offers plenty of room for experimentation. And the best part is that there are no penalties for changing upgrades and factions. Although the game’s more about the characters and your choices than plot twists.
