"The First Berserker: Khazan Unveils New Combat Mechanics in Gameplay Trailer"

Neople, a subsidiary of the renowned South Korean gaming giant Nexon, is on the brink of launching its eagerly awaited hardcore RPG slasher, *The First Berserker: Khazan*. Scheduled for release on March 27, the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. To build anticipation, the developers have unveiled an eight-minute gameplay trailer that delves into the game's intricate combat system.

The trailer highlights three fundamental principles of battle: attacking, dodging, and defending. It's crucial to understand that defense, while consuming significantly more stamina than dodging, offers a strategic advantage when timed perfectly. A well-executed block not only reduces stamina drain but also mitigates stun effects. Conversely, dodging, which uses less stamina, demands precise timing and quick reflexes to fully exploit invulnerability frames during evasive maneuvers. As with most soulslike games, mastering stamina management is key to success in *The First Berserker: Khazan*.

Should Khazan's stamina be depleted, he enters an exhaustion state, rendering him entirely vulnerable to enemy attacks. This mechanic can be turned against foes with stamina bars—players can strategically drain their enemies' stamina to unleash devastating blows. For adversaries without stamina bars, persistent attacks can still erode their resilience. These encounters require patience, precise positioning, and impeccable timing. Fortunately, the game is designed to keep players engaged, as monster stamina does not regenerate over time.
